And God spoke to Noah, and to his sons with him, saying,

and with every living creature with you, of birds and of beasts, and with all the wild beasts of the earth, as many as are with you, of all that came out of the ark.

And the Lord God said to Noah, This is the sign of the covenant which I set between Me and you, and between every living creature which is with you for perpetual generations.

And it shall be when I gather clouds upon the earth, that My rainbow shall be seen in the cloud.

And My rainbow shall be in the cloud, and I will look to remember the everlasting covenant between Me and the earth, and between every living soul in all flesh, which is upon the earth.

When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, I am your God, be well-pleasing before Me, and be blameless.

And Abram fell upon his face, and God spoke to him, saying,

And your name shall no longer be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham, for I have made you a father of many nations.

And I will establish My covenant between you and your seed after you, to their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be your God, and the God of your seed after you.

And God said to Abraham, You also shall fully keep My covenant, you and your seed after you for their generations.

And you shall be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskin, and it shall be for a sign of a covenant between Me and you.

He that is born in your house, and he that is bought with money shall surely be circumcised, and My covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant.

And God said to Abraham, Sarai, your wife- her name shall not be called Sarai, [but] Sarah shall be her name.

And Abraham fell upon his face and laughed; and said in his heart, Shall there be a child to one who is a hundred years old, and shall Sarah, who is ninety years old, bear [a child]?

And God said to Abraham, Yea, behold, Sarah your wife shall bear you a son, and you shall call his name Isaac; and I will establish My covenant with him, for an everlasting covenant, to be a God to him and to his seed after him.

But I will establish My covenant with Isaac, whom Sarah shall bear to you at this time, in the next year.

And Abraham took Ishmael his son, and all his home-born servants, and all those bought with money, and every male of the men in the house of Abraham, and he circumcised their foreskins in the time of that day, according as God spoke to him.

And Ishmael his son was thirteen years old when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.

and all the men of his house, both those born in the house, and those bought with money of foreign nations.

The Lord, the God of heaven, and the God of the earth, who took me out of my father's house, and out of the land from which I sprang, who spoke to me, and who swore to me, saying, I will give this land to you and to your seed, He shall send His angel before you, and you shall take a wife to my son from there.

For my house [is] not so with the Mighty One; for He has made an everlasting covenant with me, ready, guarded at every time; for all my salvation and all my desire [is], that the wicked should not flourish.

Give heed with your ears, and follow My ways; hearken to Me, and your soul shall live in prosperity; and I will make with you an everlasting covenant, the sure mercies of David.

Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah.

For this is My covenant which I will make with the house of Israel: after those days, says the Lord, I will surely put My laws into their mind, and write them on their hearts. And I will be to them a God, and they shall be to Me a people.

And I will make with them an everlasting covenant, which I will by no means turn away from them, and I will put My fear into their heart, that they may not depart from Me.

Brothers, I speak in human fashion: A covenant is of a man, yet having been confirmed, no one annuls or adds to it.

And this I say, that the law, which was four hundred and thirty years later, does not annul the covenant previously confirmed to Christ by God, so that it make the promise of no effect.

Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the everlasting covenant,

Then the Lord appeared to Abram, and said to him, I will give this land to your seed. And Abram built an altar there to the Lord who appeared to him.

for all the land which you see, I will give to you and to your seed forever.

And I will give to you and to your seed after you the land in which you sojourn, even all the land of Canaan for an everlasting possession, and I will be to them a God.

And I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven; and I will give to your seed all this land, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in your seed.

And may He give you the blessing of my father Abraham, even to you and to your seed after you, to inherit the land of your sojourning, which God gave to Abraham.

And the Lord stood upon it, and said, I am the God of your father Abraham, and the God of Isaac; fear not, the land on which you lie I will give to you and to your seed.

And your seed shall be as the sand of the earth; and it shall spread abroad to the sea, and the south, and the north, and to the east; and in you and in your seed shall all the tribes of the earth be blessed.

And the land which I gave to Abraham and Isaac, I have given to you; and it shall come to pass that I will give this land also to your seed after you.

And Joseph spoke to his brothers, saying, I die, and God will surely visit you, and will bring you out of this land to the land concerning which God swore to our fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

And I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them out of that land, and to bring them into a good and wide land, into a land flowing with milk and honey, into the place of the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Amorites and the Perizzites and Girgashites and Hivites and Jebusites.

And I established My covenant with them, to give them the land of the Canaanites, the land in which they sojourned, in which also they dwelt as strangers.

Take heed to all things whatsoever [that] I command you. Behold, I cast out before your face the Amorite and the Canaanite and the Perizzite and the Hittite and the Hivite and the Girgashite and the Jebusite.

And your southern side shall be from the Wilderness of Zin to the border of Edom, and your border southward shall extend on the side of the salt sea eastward.

Turn and depart, and enter into the mountain of the Amorites, and [go] to all that dwell near about Arabah, to the mountain and the plain and to the south, and the land of the Canaanites near the sea, and to Lebanon, as far as the great river, the River Euphrates.

Behold, [God] has delivered the land before you; go in and inherit the land, which I swore to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; to give it to them and to their seed after them.

And when the Lord your God shall bring you into the land into which you go, to possess it, and shall remove great nations from before you, the Hittite, the Girgashite, the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, seven nations [more] numerous and stronger than you,

Every place on which the sole of your foot shall tread shall be yours; from the wilderness and Lebanon, and from the great river, the River Euphrates, even as far as the west sea shall be your coasts.

And the Lord said to Moses, This [is] the land of which I swore to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, saying, To your seed will I give it: and I have showed it to your eyes, but you shall not go in to it.

And these [are] the kings of the Amorites, whom Joshua and the children of Israel killed beyond the Jordan by the sea of Balagad in the plain of Lebanon, and as far as the mountain of Halak, as men go up to Seir. And Joshua gave it to the tribes of Israel to inherit according to their portion.

And the second lot came out for the children of Simeon; and their inheritance was in the midst of the lots of the children of Judah.

Ziklag, Beth Marcaboth, Hazar Susah,

Rimmon, Thalcha, Ether, Ashan; four cities and their villages,

The inheritance of the tribe of the children of Simeon [was a part] of the lot of Judah, for the portion of the children of Judah was greater than theirs; and the children of Simeon inherited in the midst of their lot.

the sea and Maralah, and it shall reach to Beth Arabah in the valley, which is opposite Jokneam.

And from there it shall come round in the opposite direction eastward to Gath Hepher to Eth Kazin, and shall go on to Rimmon.

Included were Kattath, Nahallal, Shimron, Jericho, and Bethlehem.

And the fourth lot came out to Issachar.

Haphraim, Shion, Anaharath,

Remeth, En Gannim, En Haddah, Emarek, and Beth Pazzez.

This [is] the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Issachar according to their families, the cities and their villages.

And their borders were Helkath, Aleph, Baethok, Achshaph,

And it will return westward from Beth Dagon, and will join Zebulun and Ekgai, and Jiphthah El northwards, and the borders will come to Beth Emk and Neiel, and will go on to Cabul,

And the borders shall turn back to Ramah, and to the fountain of Masphassat, and the Tyrians; and the borders shall return to Jasiph, and their going forth shall be the sea, and Apoleb, and Achzib.

This [is] the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Asher according to their families, the cities and their villages.

And their borders were Moolam, Mola, Besemiin, Arme, Naboc, and Jephthamai, as far as Dodam; and their goings out were the Jordan.

And the walled cities of the Tyrians [are]: Tyre, Omathadaketh, Kenereth,

Kadesh, Edrei, En Hazor,

And he ruled over all the kings from the river, even to the land of the Philistines, and to the borders of Egypt.

And You found his heart faithful before You, and made a covenant with him to give to him and to his seed the land of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, and the Girgashites; and You have confirmed Your words, for You [are] righteous.

saying, To you will I give the land of Canaan, the line of your inheritance;

And the border shall compass from Azmon to the river of Egypt, and the sea shall be the boundary.

And [from there] they go out to Azmon, and issue at the valley of Egypt; and the termination of its boundaries shall be at the sea. These are their boundaries southward.

And it shall come to pass in that day [that] God shall fence [men] off from the channel of the river as far as the Brook of Egypt; but gather one by one the children of Israel.

And the third river is Tigris, this is that which flows forth over against the Assyrians. And the fourth river is Euphrates.

Then David attacked Hadadezer the son of Rehob king of Zobah, as he went to extend his power to the River Euphrates.

And he dwelt eastward to the borders of the wilderness, from the River Euphrates; for they had much cattle in the land of Gilead.
