And the Lord stood upon it, and said, I am the God of your father Abraham, and the God of Isaac; fear not, the land on which you lie I will give to you and to your seed.

And your seed shall be as the sand of the earth; and it shall spread abroad to the sea, and the south, and the north, and to the east; and in you and in your seed shall all the tribes of the earth be blessed.

And behold, I am with you, to preserve you continually wherever you shall go; and I will bring you back to this land; for I will not desert you, until I have done all that I have said to you.

And the border shall go down to the Jordan, and the termination shall be the Salt Sea; this shall be your land and its borders round about.

And Moses charged the children of Israel, saying, This [is] the land which you shall inherit by lot, even as the Lord commanded us to give it to the nine tribes and the half-tribe of Mannasseh.

For the tribe of the children of Reuben, and the tribe of the children of Gad have received [their inheritance] according to their families; and the half-tribe of Mannasseh have received their inheritances.
