i1 [To the Chief Musician. Sheminith. A Psalm of David.]i0 par O Jehovah, rebuke me not in Your anger, nor chasten me in Your fury. Have mercy upon me, O Jehovah, for I am weak; O Jehovah, heal me, for my bones are anxious. My soul also is exceedingly anxious; but You, O Jehovah, how long? Return, O Jehovah, rescue my soul! Deliver me because of Your goodness! For in death there is no remembrance of You; in Sheol who will give thanks to You? I am weary from my groaning; all night I make my bed swim; I dissolve my couch with my tears. My eye has wasted away because of grief; it has grown weak because of all my enemies. Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity; for Jehovah has heard the voice of my weeping. Jehovah has heard my supplication; Jehovah will receive my prayer. Let all my enemies be ashamed and greatly dismayed; let them turn back and be ashamed in a moment.
