The LORD your God will give you and your descendants obedient hearts, so that you will love him with all your heart, and you will continue to live in that land.

Jesus answered, " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.'

This is the greatest and the most important commandment.

For whether or not a man is circumcised means nothing; what matters is to obey God's commandments.

This is how we know that we love God's children: it is by loving God and obeying his commands.

For our love for God means that we obey his commands. And his commands are not too hard for us,

"Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. My Father will love those who love me; I too will love them and reveal myself to them."
