Jesus said to her, "Didn't I tell you that you would see God's glory if you believed?"

"Don't worry," Elijah said to her. "Go on and prepare your meal. But first make a small loaf from what you have and bring it to me, and then prepare the rest for you and your son.

The widow went and did as Elijah had told her, and all of them had enough food for many days.

Then Jesus said to the officer, "Go home, and what you believe will be done for you." And the officer's servant was healed that very moment.

So Jesus said to her, "Because of that answer, go back home, where you will find that the demon has gone out of your daughter!"

She went home and found her child lying on the bed; the demon had indeed gone out of her.

"Yes," said Jesus, "if you yourself can! Everything is possible for the person who has faith."

The father at once cried out, "I do have faith, but not enough. Help me have more!"

Jesus saw them and said to them, "Go and let the priests examine you." On the way they were made clean.

He sat there and listened to Paul's words. Paul saw that he believed and could be healed, so he looked straight at him

and said in a loud voice, "Stand up straight on your feet!" The man jumped up and started walking around.

His faith did not leave him, and he did not doubt God's promise; his faith filled him with power, and he gave praise to God.

He was absolutely sure that God would be able to do what he had promised.

Abraham reckoned that God was able to raise Isaac from death---and, so to speak, Abraham did receive Isaac back from death.
