When the chief priests and the Temple guards saw him, they shouted, "Crucify him! Crucify him!" Pilate said to them, "You take him, then, and crucify him. I find no reason to condemn him."

The whole crowd cried out, "Kill him! Set Barabbas free for us!"

They were all coming after him and screaming, "Kill him!"

The people listened to Paul until he said this; but then they started shouting at the top of their voices, "Away with him! Kill him! He's not fit to live!"

Pilate said to them, "Then you yourselves take him and try him according to your own law." They replied, "We are not allowed to put anyone to death."

Judah will hold the royal scepter, And his descendants will always rule. Nations will bring him tribute And bow in obedience before him.
