"Ah! What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Are you here to destroy us? I know who you are: you are God's holy messenger!"

Jesus healed many who were sick with all kinds of diseases and drove out many demons. He would not let the demons say anything, because they knew who he was.

And whenever the people who had evil spirits in them saw him, they would fall down before him and scream, "You are the Son of God!"

At once they screamed, "What do you want with us, you Son of God? Have you come to punish us before the right time?"

But Jesus kept quiet. Again the High Priest spoke to him, "In the name of the living God I now put you under oath: tell us if you are the Messiah, the Son of God."

But these have been written in order that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that through your faith in him you may have life.

She followed Paul and us, shouting, "These men are servants of the Most High God! They announce to you how you can be saved!"

She did this for many days, until Paul became so upset that he turned around and said to the spirit, "In the name of Jesus Christ I order you to come out of her!" The spirit went out of her that very moment.

Do you believe that there is only one God? Good! The demons also believe---and tremble with fear.
