On the twentieth day of the second month in the second year after the people left Egypt, the cloud over the Tent of the LORD's presence lifted,

and the Israelites started on their journey out of the Sinai Desert. The cloud came to rest in the wilderness of Paran.

The people of Israel left Rephidim, and on the first day of the third month after they had left Egypt they came to the desert of Sinai. There they set up camp at the foot of Mount Sinai,

These are the commands that the LORD gave Moses on Mount Sinai for the people of Israel.

I will meet you there, and from above the lid between the two winged creatures I will give you all my laws for the people of Israel.

The LORD called to Moses from the Tent of the LORD's presence and gave him the following rules

The LORD spoke to Moses in the Sinai Desert in the first month of the second year after the people of Israel had left Egypt. He said,

On the twentieth day of the second month in the second year after the people left Egypt, the cloud over the Tent of the LORD's presence lifted,

So on the first day of the first month of the second year after they left Egypt, the Tent of the LORD's presence was set up.

Four hundred and eighty years after the people of Israel left Egypt, during the fourth year of Solomon's reign over Israel, in the second month, the month of Ziv, Solomon began work on the Temple.
