Do not oppress widows, orphans, foreigners who live among you, or anyone else in need. And do not plan ways of harming one another.'

Don't plan anything that will hurt your neighbors; they live beside you, trusting you.

all the while planning evil in their perverted minds, stirring up trouble everywhere.

Jerusalem, wash the evil from your heart, so that you may be saved. How long will you go on thinking sinful thoughts?

How terrible it will be for those who lie awake and plan evil! When morning comes, as soon as they have the chance, they do the evil they planned.

And so the LORD says, "I am planning to bring disaster on you, and you will not be able to escape it. You are going to find yourselves in trouble, and then you will not walk so proudly any more.

But now I tell you: anyone who looks at a woman and wants to possess her is guilty of committing adultery with her in his heart.

A good person brings good things out of a treasure of good things; a bad person brings bad things out of a treasure of bad things.

For from your heart come the evil ideas which lead you to kill, commit adultery, and do other immoral things; to rob, lie, and slander others.

Then he said to me, "On it is written the curse that is to go out over the whole land. On one side of the scroll it says that every thief will be removed from the land; and on the other side it says that everyone who tells lies under oath will also be taken away.

The LORD Almighty says that he will send this curse out, and it will enter the house of every thief and the house of everyone who tells lies under oath. It will remain in their houses and leave them in ruins."

it will be right for you to swear by my name. Then all the nations will ask me to bless them, and they will praise me."

The LORD Almighty says, "I will appear among you to judge, and I will testify at once against those who practice magic, against adulterers, against those who give false testimony, those who cheat employees out of their wages, and those who take advantage of widows, orphans, and foreigners---against all who do not respect me.

You cannot stand the sight of the proud; you hate all wicked people.

You destroy all liars and despise violent, deceitful people.

The wicked are proud of their evil desires; the greedy curse and reject the LORD.

There are seven things that the LORD hates and cannot tolerate: A proud look, a lying tongue, hands that kill innocent people, a mind that thinks up wicked plans, feet that hurry off to do evil, a witness who tells one lie after another, and someone who stirs up trouble among friends.

To honor the LORD is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil ways and false words.

I kept sending you my servants the prophets, who told you not to do this terrible thing that I hate.

But how can you stand these treacherous, evil men? Your eyes are too holy to look at evil, and you cannot stand the sight of people doing wrong. So why are you silent while they destroy people who are more righteous than they are?
