Anything you say to the wise will make them wiser. Whatever you tell the righteous will add to their knowledge.

Any who love knowledge want to be told when they are wrong. It is stupid to hate being corrected.

Listen to me, you men who understand! Will Almighty God do what is wrong?

Now listen to me, if you are wise.

Any sensible person will surely agree; and the wise who hear me will say

Your commandment is with me all the time and makes me wiser than my enemies.

I have greater wisdom than those who are old, because I obey your commands.

I speak to you as sensible people; judge for yourselves what I say.

David said to her, "Praise the LORD, the God of Israel, who sent you today to meet me!

Thank God for your good sense and for what you have done today in keeping me from the crime of murder and from taking my own revenge.
