"Observe the Sabbath and keep it holy.

but the seventh day is a day of rest dedicated to me. On that day no one is to work---neither you, your children, your slaves, your animals, nor the foreigners who live in your country.

Each of you must respect your mother and your father, and must keep the Sabbath, as I have commanded. I am the LORD your God.

Keep the Sabbath, and honor the place where I am worshiped. I am the LORD.

You have six days in which to do your work, but remember that the seventh day, the Sabbath, is a day of rest. On that day do not work, but gather for worship. The Sabbath belongs to the LORD, no matter where you live.

to give the following regulations to the people of Israel. When you enter the land that the LORD is giving you, you shall honor the LORD by not cultivating the land every seventh year.

Keep the religious festivals and honor the place where I am worshiped. I am the LORD.

It is a permanent sign between the people of Israel and me, because I, the LORD, made heaven and earth in six days, and on the seventh day I stopped working and rested."

You taught them to keep your Sabbaths holy, and through your servant Moses you gave them your laws.

I made the keeping of the Sabbath a sign of the agreement between us, to remind them that I, the LORD, make them holy.

Make the Sabbath a holy day, so that it will be a sign of the covenant we made, and will remind you that I am the LORD your God.

When a legal dispute arises, the priests are to decide the case according to my laws. They are to keep the religious festivals according to my rules and regulations, and they are to keep the Sabbaths holy.

Obey my laws, because I am the LORD and I make you holy."

The people must consider the priest holy, because he presents the food offerings to me. I am the LORD; I am holy and I make my people holy.

When I place my Temple there to be among them forever, then the nations will know that I, the LORD, have chosen Israel to be my own people."

Dedicate them to yourself by means of the truth; your word is truth.

And for their sake I dedicate myself to you, in order that they, too, may be truly dedicated to you.

May the God who gives us peace make you holy in every way and keep your whole being---spirit, soul, and body---free from every fault at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
